Why was Carbon Design established?
Carbon Design was founded by people with different backgrounds, brought together by composites. Part of our team spent almost 20 years working in one of Europe’s leading centres of composite technology – and part worked on renewable energy projects. After a period of working for an external organisation, we decided to follow our own path.
We started by developing manufacturing technologies for composite parts. Today we run our own production and take customers through the entire process: from concept and FEM analysis, through tooling and process development, to serial production and quality control. One thing has stayed the same throughout: every part must be repeatable, refined and made exactly as it was designed.
What do we do?
We develop composite parts from concept to the start of production and adapt the delivery model to your needs:
– Production in our plant – from prototype to series, with quality control for every batch;
– Implementation at your site – we prepare the technology, tooling and process parameters, start up production and train your team;
– Production with proven partners – when a part requires technology outside our own equipment, we supervise the process and take responsibility for meeting your requirements.

We got it!
In the competition “COMPOSITE INDUSTRY INNOVATION 2022” in the category “Technology” our solutions and developed technology have been noticed and appreciated. The award honors our efforts and aspirations to what sometimes seems impossible or very difficult to achieve.
Our solutions will not only automate the production of composite parts, shorten the production time, but also significantly reduce waste. During the manufacturing of composite hollow elements by our method only 0,5% of the target product’s waste mass is generated. This is not only a huge saving for the customer, but also a very positive impact on the environment.
Amulet 1st Open Call Granted!
Together with East 4D Carbon Technology GmbH (Germany) we started the project “UL-CompPro” to produce the landing gear for ultralight helicopers based on winded profiles moulded in one step with connectors made with our technology form Forged Carbon.
